Walking in the old town

We begin our journey at the historic Baan Chin Pracha, a stunning Sino-Portuguese mansion built in 1903 during the late reign of King Rama V. Constructed during Phuket’s tin mining boom, this mansion exemplifies the 'Angmor Lounge' architectural style.

From here, we’ll take a walk through Phuket Old Town, immersing ourselves in its history and architecture. You’ll experience the blend of European and Chinese influences in the 19th-century colonial-style buildings, reflecting Phuket’s economic prosperity during the tin mining era. As we walk, we’ll make stops to enjoy various local snacks and street food, giving you a taste of authentic Phuket flavors.

Next, we’ll visit the Hokkian Chinese Shrine, a significant Chinese temple in the area. Here, you’ll learn about a unique branch of Buddhism and the cultural diversity that defines the local community.

Our final stop is a pottery workshop, where you’ll get the chance to paint your own porcelain creation. Whether you want to craft a meaningful souvenir or create a one-of-a-kind product to bring home, this hands-on experience will give you something truly unique.

As the day draws to a close, we’ll say our goodbyes, leaving you with beautiful memories of Phuket’s rich culture, history, and traditions.
